Tiber entry title ala ala muslimah...
Selalu terbaca di status kawan kawan. Tak kira status fb atau status whatsapp.
I'm blessed
Alhamdulillah
Thank you Allah
Saya bersyukur dengan apa yang saya ada. Dengan apa yang Allah kurniakan pada saya.
Why need to reinforced? Kenapa perlu diwar warkan?
Saya perlu lebih selalu "count my blessings"
I need the reinforcement supaya saya tidak lupa dan alpa.

Happy Birthday Darling
9.9.99
I remember that day, 9.9.99. Nice date. How I wished my due date would be that day. But according to my doctor, its not going to happen for the next 3 weeks.
10.9.99
We just bought our baby cot. The white baby cot I've always wanted.
My mother in law was at home. After work, I felt very tired and I fell asleep on the sofa.
After maghrib, my sister in law came to fetch my mother in law. Then we went out to pasar malam to buy dinner. I slept again after dinner.
At 11 pm, I woke up and felt nauseous. Run to the kitchen sink and poured my tummy content. Must be the pasar malam food... so we thought.
I went to the bathroom later and spotted a blood stain. I didn't feel any pain or discomfort though.
Encik ID insisted we went to the hospital for check up. Just to make sure that everything is fine.
At 12 am, we went to the hospital which is only about 10 minutes away. Half way, I've forgotten my ic. Turned back home and finally reached the hospital at almost 1 am.
We told the nurse that I had blood stain. They admitted me for observation and call my gynae. In the mean time, the nurse did her usually checked up and said " you are 5 cm dilated. We will send you to the labour room and call your gynae now".
I insisted I can walk to the labour room but they said "NO...!! You can give birth anytime now!". So the wheeled me in.
In the labour room, I started to feel the discomfort. On and off. The nurse came and checked on me from time to time. The gynae was still on her way.
The nurse asked me to lay on my side instead and keep my legs together and that was when I started to feel the pain. "You need to wait for your doctor" she said.
My doctor came and in less that 15 minutes after that, at 2.37 am, 11.9.99, Ms A, our bundle of joy came into this world.
It was very quick and the whole experience shocked me. I was shivering after that may be because I never expected it to happen that day and everything happened so fast.
Nevertheless, all was forgotten once I saw her face, felt her skin, smell her baby skin.
She changed our world. She changed us from "spur of the moment" kind of couple to a more matured adult. We became more risk averse, we started to plan for the future. Our life persective changed. Its no longer about just the two of us, everything we do, we have to consider another being. A very precious being.
14 years passed by. Today, our baby is a little lady.
To Ms A. My love, princess of my heart, my precious......
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Darling.
Mummy, Papa and Ms M love you to bits.
Ya Allah...
Kau lindungilah kesayangan kami ini di dunia dan di akhirat
Kau peliharalah imannya.
Kau permudahkan urusan nya
Kau lapangkan lah hidupnya
Jadikan lah dia anak yang solehah dan hamba mu yang taat.
Ameen

Of Pounds and Ounces
Selamat Hari Raya.
Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Dah 22 Syawal. How time flies...
As usual, the normal grouses post hari raya would be about the weight everybody gained despite the fasting during ramadhan and puasa 6. And I'm not spared too.
I lost 3 kg during ramadhan and gained 4kg now.
I never had any weight issue before I reached 35 years old. I was the kind of gal who can eat like there's no tomorrow and still maintain at 52kg. When I was pregnant full term, my weight was 60kg. And back to 52kg post partum. No diet restriction required. No exercise required. Of the rack clothes was easy to find. Everything look nice on me.
But that was 7 years ago. And I constantly gained 2kg every year for the past 7 years. Last sunday, I weigh 66kg!!!
I know I have to do something to stop the weight gain if not reduce it. I have to make a lifestyle change.
FIRST STEP:
I NEED TO EXERCISE. I NEED TO EXERCISE. I NEED TO EXERCISE.
I need to get my butt off. I have not been exercising since god knows when. May be not for the last 5 years or so. Kerja rumah memang tak buat lah kan since my bibik is so efficient. Habis satu rumah dengan gardening dia buat. So, starting this week, 26th of August 2013, I will at least TRY brisk walking a few times a week. We'll see how long I manage to do it.
If I can do the first step diligently, then only I will think on the second step... hehehehe

Of Love and Betrayal
I watched a video that went viral about a man who hit his wife in an elevator. In front of their 2 young children. And my feeling..... angry, disgusted, horror, pity, sad....
How could a man, who suppose to protect his woman and children did such thing? Marah? Yes. Semua orang ada perasaan marah. Tapi semua manusia juga dikurniakan akal. Which need to be used in this situation.
Ke mana hilangnya rasa kasih dan sayang? Di mana hilang rasa hormat sesama insan.
And I wonder....
What drove a man to do such act....
What make a woman still hold on to a painful relationship......
I know a few people who are in this kind of relationship.
HE said SHE provoked him
So, does she deserve it?
HE said SORRY after that. Kiss and make up
and IT HAPPEN AGAIN
and SORRY again
and IT HAPPEN AGAIN!
Is this LOVE?
or BETRAYAL?
SHE said "I'm holding on for the sake of the children"
REALLY??????
It is good for them to see their mother being abused by their father?
Is it FOR THE SAKE OF THE CHILDREN?
or
YOU CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT HIM?
Battered wife syndrome?
But its always easier said than done.
Kita hanya melihat dan bersimpati.
Mereka yang merasa dan melalui
Hanya mereka yang tahu. Semoga mereka diberi kekuatan dan perlindungan olehNYA.

Of Impulsive Shopping
"Impulsive shopper" should be my middle name. And I can really shop. If I were to list down what I bought this week, be it grocery item which I think I may need to le crussuet pot, scafts, raya cookies.... the list seems endless.
My store is full with stuffs that I don't need! Some of which I never use. My fridge is so full that if the government was to declare an emergency tomorrow, I would have a food stock enough to last for a month. I wish my bank account is of similar condition which of course sadly it is not.
I really need to enrol into shopping anonymous soon.... HELP!!!!!!!!
