Hello 2012

Its 2012!!!!!! Dah 10 hari dah pun.

It has been a super duper busy week for me. Both at work and at home.

The first week of 2012 was so dramatic. Managed to get Ms M school stuffs on time before school reopen while preparing benda benda yang perlu for Ms A registration to the boarding school. She suppose to register on the 7th and I have to be away for management retreat on the 5th and 6th. So, we prepare, pack everything ready to go before I went off. Kuasa Allah and hanya Dia yang maha mengetahui, on the 6th afternoon, I received sms saying that she was accepted in another school as well.
That put us in great dilemma..... which school to choose. The one she got earlier is a prestige private school with very good track record. The fact she was accepted there is already an achievement. She all set to go. And now, we have another school which is also good, with good program and its a public school. As a mother, I was really torn. Her happiness is the utmost important to me.
So, we laid all the facts for both school infront of her and we let her choose. Ms A being Ms A, always have matured thinking, chose to go to the public school. Although we assured her, money is not an issue (we will sacrifice anything for her future anyway, all parents will do the same!), she still insist of going to the public school. Her reasons were so that we do not have to spend so much on her secondary school and the chances of getting sponsorship for her tertiary education is higher in this public school. So, we decline the offer to enrol in the private school and prepare her registration for the other school.
Although everything dah settle, Ms A seems happy with her decision, deep in my heart, I always have this "what if she's not happy there? what if dia tak boleh sesuaikan diri? etc...." because I know she love the other school so much and really looking forward to be there. So now, since keputusan telah diambil, I just pray that Allah akan permudahkan semua urusan dan kehidupan dia kat sana.
Now I'm juggling between trying to manage my office work which never seem to finish and preparing for her enrolment to the new school, buying her new school uniforms etc because this busy mummy will have to fly off to San Francisco this weekend and will only be back a day before her registration which is on the 25th January. Sigh..... apa nak buat. Nasib ibu bekerja memang macam ni la.....
