I'm back!!!!!

It has been almost a year away from this blog....!!!! Memang jenis malas tapi nak ada blog, ini lah jadinya!!!

So, what had happen for the last 11 months?

Nothing unusual. My busy working life. More and more travelling. For the last 11 months, I've been to London, Boston, Bangkok (several times), Bali, Bandung, Jakarta, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myammar (my first time!!!!), Chicago, Dubai ( just a transit though) and most recently Bad Homburg, Germany. And all was work related. And to top it up, the local traveling, Kota Bharu (nice place... must go there again) and Johor Baharu.

And our biweekly trip to Alor Gajah to visit my darling Ms A.

I have changed job!!!!!

A decision that I made dengan hati yang lapang.

I love my previous job but the stress and the travelling is eating me up. I need more time for my family and myself.

And here I am at the new company for over a month now.

How do I feel? Never felt this relief for quite a while. Terasa ringan kepala dan lapang dada. I believe I've made the right decision. Alhamdulillah.

Its been a while

Wow, its been a while that I last wrote in this blog. Been busy with work lately. Kerja banyak and kena travel back to back for almost 3 weeks.
While I was away, two of my friends diberi dugaan oleh Allah. D's husband had a heart attack and had to undergo angioplasty. My dear friend which I fondly call Mate's dad had a stroke. I wished I was there to hug them in their time of need tapi bila berjauhan, hanya doa yang dapat dipanjatkan. Semoga Allah melindungi mereka sentiasa. To D and Mate, be strong and take care

This weekend free sikit. So time to entertain my loved ones, do a bit of spring cleaning of the house and some grocery shopping in preparation of ramadhan.

2.20pm: Bibik called "ibu... adik belum sampai dari sekolah"

2.21pm: Called Mak cik van. Mak cik van had to check with her driver

2.25pm: Mak cik van called and said Ms M's friend said Ms M has to stay back at school.

2.26pm: Asked bibik to run to school and check on Ms M

2.40pm: Called bibik and bibik said Ms M was not at school

2.41pm: Called Mak cik van and asked to help look for Ms M. Called En. ID and asked him to go home first as he's nearer.

2.50pm: Called Mak cik van and she said the teachers were looking for Ms M and has made an announcement at the school

3.00pm: No news of Ms M whereabout

3.05pm: Excused myself from the meeting and drove like mad from Putrajaya.

3.10pm: No news of Ms M. Bibik and mak cik van went to all her friends house looking for her

3.15pm: Still no news. I was hyterical already. Called atok and nenek.

3.25pm: Mak cik van called and said Ms M has followed her teacher for bowling training.

3.40pm: Arrived at the bowling centre and saw Ms M smiling at me and En. ID.

WHAT A RELIEF!!!!!!!!

I have felt how mothers yang kehilangan anak rasa. Separuh nyawa hilang!!!!!

Still traumatized by the experience.

Bibik nak balik!!!!!!

Last 2 week bibik bagi tau dia nak balik. She has been with us for one year only. Her reason is... anak dia selalu sakit, so she need to balik. Although, I can say she has 2 year contract with us therefore, dia tak boleh balik but I feel that we just cannot force someone to work for us bila hati dia tak nak kerja. And surprisingly, I felt ok about it.
Maka, bermula la episod planning for life without bibik. Our main concern would be Ms M. Mana dia nak duduk ni????? She never stay in a daycare more than a week and we know she will not be happy there. She is in the morning session this year so we need to send her somewhere in the afternoon.
The first option is for her to stay with nenek, my mum who stays 25km away. Tapi siapa nak ambik dia dari sekolah? I asked my father to ask around if ada orang yang boleh fetch her from school everyday. Sort of like a driver for her. Tapi Atok nya volunteer nak gi ambik pulak. Rasa tak sampai hati la pulak nak biarkan abah pergi ambil dia everyday. So, we KIV that option until we can find other driver to fetch her.
Second option.... is to find a babysitter for her. Tapi nak cari orang yang tak jaga ramai budak. Banyak la pulak syarat mummynya ni....
We tried asking my sister in law's babysitter who has been taking care of my niece for a few years but she has to decline the request as she has just gave birth and she felt its difficult to cope with additional kid. While asking around, alhamdulillah... mak cik van Ms M offers herself to babysit Ms M.
But today, another blessing from Allah. My cleaner at the office came to see me and said she has a relative who is  looking for job. The relative has just arrived from Indonesia. So, we are going to meet up with her next week and if we feel comfortable with her, we will start the application for working permit etc.

I believe things happen for a reason. Thank you Allah atas segala kemudahan yang diberi.

Ms M is having fever since last saturday. Her big sister is very concerned about her as usual.
